Kankakee won the last time they faced Normal Community and things went their way on Friday too. The Kays walked away with a 28-17 win over the Ironmen. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Kays.

Cedric Terrell III produced another solid effort picking up 158 receiving yards and two scores. Those two receiving touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Normal Community still got an impressive performance from Cole Kretsinger, who rushed for 91 yards and a pair of TDs.

The victory got Kankakee back to even at 2-2. As for Normal Community, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Kankakee didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 31-0 win against Thornwood on the 26th. As for Normal Community, they have also already played their next matchup, a 56-8 victory against Manual on the 26th.
