Volleyball Recap: Pine Forest Takes a Loss

Pine Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Hoke County Bucks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bucks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 11th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-13.

Aaliyah Carter was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six digs and two aces.

Pine Forest's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Hoke County, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pine Forest is set to square off against their familiar foe Pinecrest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hoke County will face off against rival Richmond Senior at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
