Soccer Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the North Henderson Knights. That's two games in a row now that Franklin have lost by exactly two goals.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for North Henderson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.

Coming up, Franklin will be playing at home against Smoky Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Franklin's defense better be ready for this one: Smoky Mountain have averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season. As for North Henderson, they will head out to take on Tuscola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tuscola's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
