Coconino won against Peoria  last Wednesday with 13  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Thursday. The Coconino Panthers never let the Agua Fria Owls get on the board and left with  a   13-0  win. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Owls, too.
 Fitz Guinan and  Ty Sevier made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound,  Guinan   pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Sevier   struck out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. At bat,  Guinan  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-1, while  Sevier  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other pitching news,  Caleb Begay looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 Back at the plate,  Steven Stone was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double.  Corbin Derr was another key player,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Coconino  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .541. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Agua Fria only posted  an  OBP of  .167.
The  victory made it two in a row for Coconino and  bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12 runs. As for Agua Fria, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the  defeat, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Coming up,  a feisty cat fight will be fought as  the Panthers  duke it out with  the Lions at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Agua Fria, they will welcome Shadow Mountain  at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
