Basketball Recap: Lee Generals vs. Mae Jemison Jaguars

They put the hurt on the Mae Jemison Jaguars with a sharp 69-49 win. Lee had a senior duo take command as Michael (Mike) Stanford dropped a double-double with ten points and 15 boards and Dylan Anderson posted 18 points and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Anderson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Stuart, who put up nine points and seven boards.
Lee was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mae Jemison only racked up eight.
Despite the loss, Mae Jemison still got an impressive performance from Cortez Hudson, who almost dropped a double-double with 27 points and nine rebounds. The contest was Hudson's fourth in a row with at least 16 points.
Lee's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Mae Jemison, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Coming up, Lee will be home for the holidays to greet Covington Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Generals will need to watch out since the Colonels have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
