Football Recap: Hawkinsville Red Devils vs. Lincoln County Red Devils
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Hawkinsville couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They had to suffer through a 56-0 loss at the hands of Lincoln County. The game marked the first time this season in which Hawkinsville was not able to get on the board.
Jakori Pickett threw for 31 yards. Johnathan Solomon was his top target, picking up 51 receiving yards. On the ground, Nieem Blair rushed for 45 yards.
Kelby Glaze was his usual excellent self, rushing for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries for Lincoln County. Glaze is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mekhi Wade, who rushed for 54 yards and one TD.
