Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Lancers vs. Montbello Warriors

Lincoln is on a six-game streak of home losses, Montbello a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Lincoln Lancers just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Montbello Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Lincoln will be strutting in after a victory while Montbello will be coming in after a loss.

On Wednesday, Lincoln beat Sheridan 53-44. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Montbello lost to Bruce Randolph on the road by a 65-46 margin on Tuesday.

Despite the defeat, Montbello saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kian Martin went 8-for-18 to rack up 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martin has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Clyde Q, who posted nine points.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Montbello, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.
