Mandarin lost to First Coast back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Mandarin Mustangs came out on top against the First Coast Buccaneers by a score of 67-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Amari Walton and Nicias Harris certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Walton dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, while Harris made all 7 shots he took racking up 14 points. Walton also posted seven blocks, which is notable because First Coast is 4-2 when he posts at least five blocks, but 3-6 otherwise. Christian Williams was another key player, putting up seven points and seven boards.

Mandarin's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for First Coast, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8.

Mandarin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-47 win against Sandalwood on the 14th. First Coast has also already played their next game, a 90-50 loss against Ribault on the 13th.
