Basketball Recap: Crystal City Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against DeSoto, Crystal City was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They managed a 45-40 win over the Pacific Indians. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Crystal City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maya Hankins led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 15 boards. With that strong performance, Hankins is now averaging an impressive 8.6 boards per game. Addison Bova was another key player, going 5 of 9 on her way to 13 points.
