Lafayette Jefferson is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Anderson just ended the team's eight-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 63-60. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bronchos have suffered against the Indians since January 13, 2017.

Meanwhile, Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Homestead.

Lafayette Jefferson will have to keep a close watch on Amar Rogers and Tim Jones, a pair of players who had a big impact on Marion's prior game. Rogers went 7 for 13 en route to 22 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals, while Jones went 7 of 16 on his way to 18 points along with five boards and three steals. Jones is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Lafayette Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.

Lafayette Jefferson didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Marion when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 78-72 victory.
