Soccer Recap: Wesleyan Christian Academy Starts Season with Win on the Road

Wesleyan Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Winston Salem Christian Lions.

Lily Barrow and Lillian Johnson scored all three of Wesleyan Christian Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

This is the second loss in a row for Winston Salem Christian and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Wesleyan Christian Academy will take on Covenant Day at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winston Salem Christian, they will square off against Atkins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
