League recap: Paso Robles scores huge upset over Arroyo Grande

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Paso Robles, who defeated 129th ranked Arroyo Grande, 20-10.

The Bearcats moved up to 149 from 178 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Pac-7. Paso Robles climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Eagles 20-10.

Curry Parham threw for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Izaiah Cooks was a beast in the backfield as Atascadero topped San Luis Obispo.

Cooks was a passing and rushing force as the Greyhounds beat the Tigers.

Chris Barganier was the best wideout in the league this week as St. Joseph topped Pioneer Valley. Barganier racked up 5 receptions for 107 yards. Mateo Becerra helped St. Joseph's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 22 yards.

6-foot-3 quarterback Parham of the Knights is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,489. He has also thrown 11 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Bailey Gaither. The Paso Robles star has 35 catches for 615 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Paso Robles takes on second place Atascadero. Last week, the Bearcats bested Arroyo Grande, while Atascadero beat San Luis Obispo.

Righetti's Colin Cooper is a mere 22 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 166 carries Cooper has put up 978 yards this year.

Adding to the longest winning streak in Pac-7 this week, Vic Cooper's team beat David Kelley's team 28-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Greyhounds.
