Paxton Cooper Game Report: vs Wayne County

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Paxton Cooper stepped things up a notch to give Purvis the 'W'. Cooper pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The performance also marked the fewest earned runs (zero) he has had since back in February of 2024.

Cooper and Purvis will head out to face off against Presbyterian Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cooper has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 0 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Bobcats have only allowed 8.5 per game this season.
