Mica Mountain had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Walden Grove Red Wolves. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win on April 3rd.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-21.

Sean Wiltshire paced Mica Mountain's offense, picking up ten kills. Wiltshire were helped by Caleb Cherry and Dylan Uribe, who contributed 12 assists each. Finally, Wiltshire was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Mica Mountain pushed their record up to 24-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Walden Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mica Mountain will square off against Salpointe Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Thunderbolts surely won't give up without a fight. As for Walden Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sahuaro at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
