Volleyball Recap: Carmel Finds Home Court Redemption Against Peekskill

There's no place like home for Carmel, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Peekskill Red Devils on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Carmel's got stronger as the match went on, holding Peekskill to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-11.

The victory got Carmel back to even at 2-2. As for Peekskill, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Carmel will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Haldane at 6:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Peekskill, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Greeley on the 10th.
