Basketball Game Preview: Cairo Syrupmakers vs. Peach County Trojans

Cairo is on a 15-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Peach County a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Cairo Syrupmakers will host the Peach County Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Cairo had to suffer through a 71-18 loss at the hands of Dougherty. While losing is never fun, the Syrupmakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 459th, while the Trojans are ranked 136th).

Meanwhile, Peach County lost 50-27 to Northside on Tuesday.

Peach County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Cairo, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.
