Basketball Recap: Cooper Comes Up Short

Cooper lost against St. John back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cooper Dragons took a 54-37 bruising from the St. John's Mavericks. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for St. John's, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Cooper has already played their next game, a 42-38 victory against Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart on the 17th. As for St. John's, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 89-25 loss against Kinkaid on the 17th.
