Eden Christian Academy came out on top against Monessen on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run first inning. Eden Christian Academy never let Monessen get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. Considering Eden Christian Academy has won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brett Feldman was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one double. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game. Another player making a difference was Brady Hull, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Eden Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monessen only posted an OBP of .214.

The victory (which was Eden Christian Academy's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games.
