Softball Game Preview: Fort Vancouver Trappers vs. King's Way Christian Knights

For the second straight game, Fort Vancouver will face off against King's Way Christian. The Trappers are taking a road trip to challenge the Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Fort Vancouver turned things around against King's Way Christian on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trappers, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

For King's Way Christian's part, Lauren Lewis made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

King's Way Christian dropped their record down to 1-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games. As for Fort Vancouver, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
