Burke came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Omaha North, but Ayanna Hill wouldn't allow it. The Omaha North Vikings claimed a resounding 79-49 victory over the Burke Bulldogs thanks in part to Hill, who went 13-for-24 to rack up 30 points along with seven boards and five assists. Those five assists gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Milani Drake, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Despite the defeat, Burke had strong showings from LaNasia Wilson, who went 6-for-12 on her way to 17 points, and Hevin Ketchum, who went 6-for-14 en route to 17 points. That was a full 34.7% of Burke's points, marking the sixth time in a row Wilson has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Omaha North's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Burke, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-20 record this season.

Omaha North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-46 victory against Lincoln High on the 20th. As for Burke, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-19 loss against Marian on the 20th.
