Baseball Recap: Brandon Takes a Loss

Brandon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Neumann Celtics.

Graydon Walker was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That stolen base was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brayson Hall, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Brandon's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Neumann, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Brandon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-2 victory against Columbia Academy on the 13th. As for Neumann, they have also already played their next game, a 6-5 win against Petal on the 13th.
