Recap: Harry S. Truman Tigers vs. Neshaminy Skins
The Harry S. Truman Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They took a hard 52-38 fall against Neshaminy. While losing is never fun, Harry S. Truman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 611th, while the Skins are ranked 167th).
Neshaminy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emeer Coombs led the charge by scoring 18 points along with five assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Guy Horton, who scored 15 points.
Harry S. Truman dropped their record down to 1-16 with that loss, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Neshaminy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harry S. Truman will face off against the Fighting Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neshaminy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Council Rock North and the Skins are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
