Southwest Onslow has gone 8-2 against Northside - Jacksonville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. It'll be Northside v. Southside when the Southwest Onslow Stallions and the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs meet at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Southwest Onslow's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Northside - Jacksonville has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Last Monday, Southwest Onslow came up short against White Oak and fell 11-7. The loss was the Stallions' first of the season.

Wyatt Kirk was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Jarman, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Northside - Jacksonville came into Tuesday's contest having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over Heide Trask on Tuesday.

Having lost for the first time this season, Southwest Onslow fell to 2-1. As for Northside - Jacksonville, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Southwest Onslow took their victory against Northside - Jacksonville when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 13-3. Will Southwest Onslow repeat their success, or does Northside - Jacksonville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
