Mt. Zion lost a heartbreaker the last time they played St. Teresa, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's match. The Braves put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 14-1 victory on Monday. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Mt. Zion and bumps their season record up to 10-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for St. Teresa, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Mt. Zion will be playing at home against Metamora at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Teresa, they will head out on the road to take on Maroa-Forsyth at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
