Basketball Recap: Lunenburg Central Comes Up Short

Lunenburg Central lost against Cumberland last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lunenburg Central Chargers were beaten by the Cumberland Dukes 74-42. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lunenburg Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Cumberland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Rappahannock the next time they take the court. Lunenburg Central will host Rappahannock at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Cumberland will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
