Volleyball Recap: Vandercook Lake Takes a Loss

Vandercook Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Jonesville Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jayhawks of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Jonesville found their leader in sophomore Sadie Broesamle, who had ten digs and two aces. Kylee Fowler also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Vandercook Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Jonesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-11-1 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Vandercook Lake and Addison will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jonesville, they will head out to face off against Pennfield at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
