Volleyball Recap: Switzerland County Comes Up Short

Switzerland County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Switzerland County was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Jac-Cen-Del's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 26-24.

Switzerland County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Jac-Cen-Del, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Switzerland County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Rising Sun on the 24th. As for Jac-Cen-Del, they will take on South Ripley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
