Baseball Recap: Bremen Lions vs. NorthWood Panthers

After flying high against Bethany Christian last Thursday, Bremen came back down to earth. The Bremen Lions lost 18-6 to the NorthWood Panthers on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Bremen of the 6-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Kaden Martin was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

On NorthWood's side, Brady Blackford looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

As for NorthWood, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Goshen at 5:30 p.m. NorthWood will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
