Game recap: Stratford High School Football Team beats Tomball

HOUSTON, Texas - the Spartans scored 28 points in the second quarter to secure a big 51-23 victory over Tomball (Texas) on Saturday.

Stratford scored on a rushing touchdown, a touchdown run, a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown in the quarter.

After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, SHS led 42-0 at the half.

Drew Reynolds made a difference for the Cougars. The senior quarterback threw three touchdowns. His performance brought his touchdown total to four on the year.



With the win the Houston school extended its winning streak to three games.

Stratford (7-2) goes up against Ridge Point in a 4A Region III District 22 game matchup next week, while Tomball (3-6) locks horns with Tomball Memorial also in a 4A Region III District 22 game.
