Volleyball Recap: Seaholm/Groves' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Seaholm/Groves posted their closest win since September 6th on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Chippewa Valley Big Reds 1-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Maples as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Seaholm/Groves' win bumped their record up to 8-11-4. As for Chippewa Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Seaholm/Groves didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fraser on the 4th. As for Chippewa Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Armada on the 4th.
