Softball Recap: Alexander Comes Up Short

The Alexander Trojans came up short against the Batavia Blue Devils on Tuesday and fell 9-4. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexander saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Pietrzykowski, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Another was Ava Yax, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Alexander's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Batavia, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11.

Coming up, Alexander will head out to challenge Holley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Batavia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
