Basketball Recap: Weldon STEM Victorious

KIPP P came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Weldon STEM, but Kamya Coles wouldn't allow it. The Chargers snuck past the Pride with a 45-41 victory on Saturday for which the team can thank Coles, who posted 30 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Weldon STEM's points.

KIPP P's loss came despite strong showings from Natha Williams and Garieal Burgess. Williams dropped a double-double with 23 points and 20 rebounds, while Burgess had 11 points and five steals. Williams is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last five games she's played.
