Aliceville skate past Greene County with ease

Recap: Aliceville Yellowjackets vs. Greene County Tigers

The Aliceville Yellowjackets entered their tilt with the Greene County Tigers with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Aliceville really took it to Greene County for the full four quarters, racking up a 46-6 victory at home. Considering Aliceville has won three matches by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Keanthony Wilder, who rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 155 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyquan Simon, who picked up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Despite the loss, Greene County saw an underclassman step up: Ronald Wilder jr. rushed for 197 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.

Aliceville's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.0 points per game. As for Greene County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Aliceville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Greene County also has no future games currently scheduled.
