Soccer Recap: Perry Central Comes Up Short

Perry Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Resurrection Catholic Eagles. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

Perry Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Resurrection Catholic, the win got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry Central will welcome West Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Resurrection Catholic, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pascagoula at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
