Volleyball Game Preview: Elmwood Park Crusaders vs. Harrison Blue Tide

The Elmwood Park Crusaders will head out on the road to square off against the Harrison Blue Tide at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Elmwood Park was able to grind out a solid victory over Weehawken, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Meanwhile, Harrison put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Kearny. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blue Tide have posted since April 2nd.

Harrison had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-17, 25-17.

Elmwood Park's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Harrison, they pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Elmwood Park came up short against Harrison in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
