Brayden Tyson Dazzles in Brookwood Win
Starting off the list is Brookwood's Brayden Tyson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tyson rushed for 226 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 76 receiving yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 128 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Tyson and Brookwood will face off against Duluth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tyson will face off against Brandon Lyons, the Wildcats' star rusher. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

CJ Hollinquest's big game helped extend North Gwinnett's winning streak to eight on Friday. Hollinquest produced his best game of the campaign : he made four total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defended a pass. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
North Gwinnett's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Hollinquest and North Gwinnett will host Norcross at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Jake Godfree produced his most outstanding game to date while leading North Gwinnett to the win on Friday. Godfree wasn't messing around, picking up a sack, forcing two fumbles, and making eight total tackles (4.0 for loss). The contest was his 11th straight with eight or more total tackles dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Godfree could be in store for another big game when he takes on Norcross on Friday. Godfree picked up a sack, made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defended two passes the last time he and the Blue Devils duked it out back in November of 2023.

On Friday, North Gwinnett got the W thanks in part to Jalen Gist playing the best football he has all season. Gist picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made ten total tackles.
