Basketball Recap: Orange County Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Orange County lost against William Monroe back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Orange County Fighting Hornets fell 61-52 to the William Monroe Dragons.

Orange County's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4. As for William Monroe, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orange County will square off against Monticello at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for William Monroe, they will face off against Spotswood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. William Monroe is on a 11-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Spotswood a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
