Basketball Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short

Shawnee played a tough contest on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Jonathan Alder Pioneers 75-38. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Jonathan Alder, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Shawnee is taking a road trip to take on Graham Local at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jonathan Alder, they will host Urbana at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Urbana will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Jonathan Alder surely won't give up without a fight.
