There's no place like home for Windsor, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Dukes have posted since April 25, 2024.

Windsor is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Isle of Wight Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.
