Baseball Recap: Classical Academy's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

After a string of four wins, Classical Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Bishop's Knights by a score of 8-6. The Caimans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Trevor Hoff was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Classical Academy is 3-1 when Hoff posts one or more home runs, but 7-11 otherwise.

Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Bishop's, their record is now 13-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Classical Academy will face off against rival La Jolla Country Day at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bishop's is set to challenge their familiar foe Francis Parker at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
