Football Recap: Grant Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Grant was riding high fresh off their 56-0 takedown of Bolton Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peabody Warhorses on Friday. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warhorses apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Peabody, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grant will head out to square off against Wossman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.83 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Peabody, they are taking a road trip to challenge Franklin Parish at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
