Basketball Recap: Dakota Falls Despite Big Games from Cora Ingram and Makenna Stuckey

After flying high against Durand last Tuesday, Dakota came back down to earth. The Dakota Indians took a 49-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orangeville Broncos on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-39 back in January.

Makenna Stuckey and Cora Ingram certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Stuckey dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards, while Ingram posted 13 points. Stuckey has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Dakota's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Orangeville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Dakota nor Orangeville have any future games scheduled.
