Basketball Game Preview: Prairie Home Panthers vs. Tuscumbia Lions

Prairie Home is 9-1 against Tuscumbia since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. Prairie Home knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Tuscumbia likes a good challenge.

Tuscumbia is facing Prairie Home at the wrong time: Prairie Home suffered their first home loss of the season on Tuesday and they're likely out for redemption. They took a 71-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 13 points.

Meanwhile, Tuscumbia took a blow against Vienna on Monday, falling 73-46. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Prairie Home's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Tuscumbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
