Volleyball Recap: Desert Mirage Takes a Loss

Desert Mirage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Cathedral City Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Desert Mirage's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Cathedral City, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Desert Mirage will venture away from home to square off against Banning at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The RAMS are facing the Broncos at the right time seeing as the Broncos are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Cathedral City, they will head out to take on Coachella Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
