Wilmington proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 12) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Grove City Eagles 4-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 two weeks ago.

Wilmington is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those eight matchups. As for Grove City, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2-2.

Coincidentally, Wilmington and Grove City will both be playing Slippery Rock the next time they take the pitch. The Greyhounds will head out to face the Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
