Basketball Recap: Greeley West Comes Up Short

Greeley West lost against Poudre back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greeley West Spartans lost 61-37 to the Poudre Impalas. The game marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Pierce Decker had a dynamite game for Poudre, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 14 boards. Luke Foster was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Greeley West and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Poudre, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Greeley West will take on Northridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Poudre, they will challenge Loveland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Loveland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.9 points per game this season.
