Soccer Recap: Wallington Plays to a Tie

It was a good run, but Wallington unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Monday. They and the Waldwick Warriors finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result kept Wallington happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 11th.

With that draw, Wallington's record moves to 6-2-1. Meanwhile, Waldwick's record is now 5-4-1.

Wallington wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Whippany Park on the 1st. As for Waldwick, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Westwood on the 3rd.
