Baseball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 16-5 to the Lighthouse Christian Chargers.

Skyline saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paxton Foster, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Lighthouse Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Skyline will venture away from home to challenge Stockton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lighthouse Christian, they will take on Wheatland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
