Baseball Recap: Silver Stage Takes a Loss

Silver Stage fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against West Wendover on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Nighthawks in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost nine in a row.

Silver Stage saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landen Wolf, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Silver Stage's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for West Wendover, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolverines beat Silver Stage by a score of 19-4 later that day.
