St. Thomas More had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They blew past the Rayne Wolves 11-1. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Thomas More's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Rayne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as St. Thomas More Cougars take on Westgate Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Thomas More is facing Westgate at the right time seeing as Westgate is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Rayne, they will face off against North Vermilion at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
